We took an underwater photography trip to the Philippines in December 2016.
Flame gobies are usually found just above the bottom facing into the current, waiting for their prey of small invertebrates. The dorsal fin is very long and the fish flicks it back and forth. The fish will retreat into its burrow if threatened.
